For December, our "Movie of the Month" is the documentary "Dreaming of a Jewish Christmas" (2017).
"A musical documentary about the amazing story of a group of Jewish songwriters who wrote the soundtrack to Christmas."
This doc explores the rituals of Jewtide, from going to the movie to eating Chinese to singing songs of the season.
Just like any book club, West Valley Jewish Film Society will have a month to watch a selected film, and then on the third Thursday every month, we will get together (whether on Zoom or in person) to review the film and discuss our thoughts on it. You can visit our website here.
This month our format will be entirely online!
Please watch Dreaming of a Jewish Christmas at your convenience, and on December 21st at 7:00pm we will meet on Zoom to discuss the film.
