For November, our "Movie of the Month" is the documentary "I Was Not Born A Mistake" (2019).
"Living in the Chabad House in Jerusalem, he begs God to help him "wake up feeling like a regular man or with the body of a woman"."
It is a film about self-acceptance, compassion, love, and family.
This documentary is recommended for adults only.
Just like any book club, West Valley Jewish Film Society will have a month to watch a selected film, and then on the third Thursday every month, we will get together (whether on Zoom or in person) to review the film and discuss our thoughts on it. You can visit our website here.
This month our format will be entirely online!
Please watch I Was Not Born A Mistake at your convenience, and on November 16th at 7:00pm we will meet on Zoom to discuss the film.
