For May, our "Movie of the Month" will be the documentary Cuba's Forgotten Jewels: A Haven in Havana (2017).
This full-length documentary tells the story of the overlooked story of Jewish refugees who evaded Nazi capture by finding safe harbor in tropical Havana, is vividly brought to life in CUBA’S FORGOTTEN JEWELS.

Just like any book club, West Valley Jewish Film Society will have a month to watch a selected film, and then on the third Thursday every month, we will get together (whether on Zoom or in person) to review the film and discuss our thoughts on it. You can visit our website here.
This month our format will be entirely online!
Please watch Cuba's Forgotten Jewels at your convenience, and on May 16th at 7:00pm we will meet on Zoom to discuss the film.
