For April, our "Movie of the Month" will be Hitler's Children (2011).
A powerful, mesmerizing dialogue between the children of the perpetrators of the Holocaust and the children of the survivors. Both live out the Holocaust daily, unable to move forward. Both finally face the past and are empowered to move on.
Just like any book club, Temple Aliyah's West Valley Jewish Film Society will have a month to watch a selected film, and then on the third Thursday every month, we will get together (whether on Zoom or in person) to review the film and discuss our thoughts on it. You can visit our website here.
This month our format will include a special conversation with Rabbi Vogel at Temple Aliyah!
Please watch Hitler's Children at your convenience, and on April 20th at 7:00pm we will meet at Temple Aliyah to discuss the documentary with a special dialogue session with Rabbi Stewart Vogel.
