For January, our "Movie of the Month" will be American Birthright (2021).
Her sister’s wedding inspires a young actor, filmmaker and social media influencer to embark on a road trip to the crossroads of intermarriage and Jewish survival.

Just like any book club, Temple Aliyah's West Valley Jewish Film Society will have a month to watch a selected film, and then on the third Thursday every month, we will get together (whether on Zoom or in person) to review the film and discuss our thoughts on it. You can visit our website here.
To kick off WVJFS's first film in the series, we will be screening the documentary, American Birthright, followed by a special Q & A session with its director and star, Becky Bordo!
Film will begin at 7:00pm & the Q & A will start at 8:15pm on January 19th at Temple Aliyah.

- Cost to attend both the screening and the Q & A is $15.
- To only attend the Q & A there is no charge.
- If you want to watch the documentary at home and attend the screening at Aliyah (with the Q & A), please send us a receipt of purchase of the documentary for at-home viewing, and we will forgo the $15!*
*This is a great option to view the film from the comfort of your home and possibly save money if viewed in a small group!
