Friday Night Services:

Zamru Shabbat Service:
6:00 - 7:00 pm, on the 1st Friday of the month
An instrumental, musical service in the round led by Cantor Asher and either Rabbi Camras or Rabbi Vogel, with Lazer Cohen on guitar.

Kabbalat Shabbat Service
6:00 - 7:00 pm, on the 2nd and 5th Friday of the month
A non-instrumental, traditional Kabbalat Shabbat service led by one of our rabbis and Hazzan Smith.

Shabbat By Candlelight:
7:30 - 8:30 pm, on the 3rd Friday of the month
An intimate Shabbat evening service in candlelight led by Rabbinic Intern Sarah Klein and Cantor Jenni Asher.

Shabbat Live!
6:00 - 7:00 pm, on the 4th Friday of the month
An instrumental, musical service led by Hazzan Mimi on guitar along with a percussionist, and one of our rabbis.
 

Saturday Morning Services:
Non-Instrumental Shira Service and Instrumental Neshama Service

The Non-Instrumental Shira Service is a traditional Shabbat morning service without musical instruments. The Instrumental Neshama Service blends traditional prayer with contemporary melodies using musical instruments. 

  • Non-Instrumental Shira Service: Saturdays from 9:15 am - 12:00 pm
  • Instrumental Neshama Service: Saturdays from 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

Want to learn to read Torah? A class is being organized. If interested, please email Lena Wayne at lena.wayne55@gmail.com.

Shabbat Babysitting

Hamakom provides babysitting on the third Shabbat morning of every month. Parents attending services can drop off their children, ages 2 and up, in the Conference Room. Please provide a backpack with snacks and other essentials. RSVP is required to Carrie Ho at boysema@gmail.com.  

 

Teen Encore Program

Teenagers or parents of teenagers are invited to contact Hazzan Mimi Haselkorn if they would like to participate in future Shabbat services.
