The Hamakom Men’s Club is a social and service affiliate that is a vital part of our community.  We hold and help run various social, religious, family and community-oriented events throughout the year, and regular meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month. All men are welcome at events and meetings for friendship, camaraderie, learning, service, or just for fun.

Some of the activities the Men’s Club sponsors and runs are the Purim Carnival, Holocaust Yellow Candle Distribution to our entire community, our famous annual Sukkah building,  our annual Christmas eve comedy night, a Sunday Dodgers game, volunteer for Kiddush lunch duty for those months that have a fifth Saturday, and usher at High Holiday Services.

We also sponsor the world wide tefillin wrap for our 6th graders on Super Bowl Sunday and lead services at our annual Men’s Club Shabbat. We have a scotch tasting night in May, Tacos and Tequila in the Sukkah in October, Mitzvah Day and hike for better health in November, and vodka and latkes in December.

We volunteer at community events like Mishloach Manot, Lag B’Omer, Beer Garden, Splash Bash, as well as our annual Hanukah festivities.

We award youth scholarships for summer camp programs and help financially where possible with projects that have not been budgeted by the congregation.

All this and more, to make our great community even greater.

Men’s Club is here for you. Use the form below to join and be a part of all the fun!
