RETURN TO THE HIGH HOLY DAYS HOME PAGE

The Teen Program is for 6th-12th graders and will take place in the Youth Lounge, located on the second floor of the West Education Building. The program will run from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm on Rosh Hashanah Day 1 (Sept. 23) and Yom Kippur Day (Oct. 2).

There is no charge for the Teen Program but you must register in advance. The registration deadline is Friday, Sept. 12, 2025.

  • No registrations will be accepted after the deadline, and there are no “day of” drop-ins.

Drop Off: Drop off will be in the Youth Lounge. Our program will begin all together in the Youth Lounge before dividing up into smaller groups. During the program, our teens will have opportunities to socialize and engage in meaningful activities such as a creative text study, nature walk, Israel discussion, sports, social action, and yoga/meditation. Snacks will be provided.

Pick Up: On Rosh Hashanah Day 1, teens will be brought to the Sanctuary to hear the blowing of the Shofar near the end of the service, at which point they will reunite with their parents. On Yom Kippur Day at 12:30 pm, all participants will be escorted to the main building to join their families.

Conduct: We are excited to welcome all 6th–12th graders to our High Holy Day Teen Program on Rosh Hashanah Day 1 and Yom Kippur. To ensure everyone has the best possible experience, we are looking for your help in creating a respectful and positive environment.

For everyone’s safety and the continuity of our program, we require all teens to stay for the full duration of the program. Entering and exiting the program is discouraged, and our wonderful parent volunteers will be present to support our teens as needed.

In the unlikely event that any participating teens conduct themselves inappropriately, they may be asked to rejoin their families in the main service.

We are looking forward to another joyful and meaningful holiday with our incredible teens!
