TEMPLE ALIYAH's WEST VALLEY JEWISH FILM SOCIETY

For March, our "Movie of the Month" will be The Yankles (2009).

THE YANKLES is a film about a fictitious college-level baseball team made up of students from an Orthodox Yeshiva.

Just like any book club, Temple Aliyah's West Valley Jewish Film Society will have a month to watch a selected film, and then on the third Thursday every month, we will get together (whether on Zoom or in person) to review the film and discuss our thoughts on it. You can visit our website here.

This month our format will be entirely online!

Please watch The Yankles at your convenience, and on March 16th at 7:00pm we will meet on Zoom to discuss the film with a special Q & A session with its co-writers & co-producers Zev Brooks & David R. Brooks (who is also the film's director).
