Four years before “Nobody Wants This,” the Israeli romcom “Kiss Me Kosher” created an even crazier group of characters. The lovers are lesbians – an Israeli who runs a bar and a gentile German botanist. The grandmother is a Holocaust survivor who accepts gays, despises Germans and has an Arab lover. And looming over everything is the eternal battle over how big the wedding should be.

Just like any book club, HAMAKOM's West Valley Jewish Film Society will have a month to watch a selected film, and then on the third Thursday every month, we will get together (whether on Zoom or in person) to review the film and discuss our thoughts on it.
