"Embracing the Wilderness: A Shavuot Journe" is the theme for this year's Tikkun Leil Shavuot at HAMAKOM. Please RSVP so we know how much dairy dessert to prepare.

Lecture by Gary Shapiro, "The Book of Genesis and God's Personal Growth". 

Human life, of course, involves change, crisis, loss, or disruption - and our efforts to cope with them. But in the Torah, especially in the first chapters of Genesis, even God is portrayed as going through significant stages of change, loss, and growth. What can we learn about facing our own challenging times from how the Creator of the Universe deals with the difficulties of guiding human beings?
