Milton, an elderly widower in a small Pennsylvania town, spends his days watching television, receiving occasional visits from his veterinarian daughter, and attending local town council meetings where he complains about the need for a cross walk at a nearby street, until a UFO piloted by an injured alien crash-lands in his backyard.
