Eliza Enbom brings 23 years of experience in Early Childhood Education to her role as director of the Early Childhood Center, a passion sparked at the age of three when her family moved to Israel. During that formative time, a compassionate teacher made a lasting impact, inspiring Eliza to one day become an educator herself.

Upon returning to the U.S., she began pursuing that dream in high school and went on to earn both her teaching and director credentials through UCLA Extension’s Early Childhood Education program.

A devoted member of the Hamakom (and formerly Shomrei Torah Synagogue) community for 35 years, Eliza began her teaching career right here and has been shaping young lives at Hamakom ever since. Her deep commitment to nurturing children’s growth is matched by her dedication to the community she calls home.

Outside the classroom, Eliza enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, watching movies, and attending sporting events, especially if it involves the USC Trojans. She is honored to be part of the Hamakom team and excited to continue this journey with our families.
